not great

purchased the hippo pattern as a customer requested one that "sits up". made two of them - first body is disproportionately smaller than the rest of the parts. legs are too long. We increased the pattern size by 30% and made the legs about 1.5 inches shorter. better but not great.

Sorry to hear that you are not happy. If the pattern was peinted at the correct size the pattern pieces would all match up and the proportions should be accurate. We have made many hippos and they all look lovely once made. Please contact us if you require any furhter help. Thank you.
