Ginny Gingerbread can be clothed in a dress or a waistcoat so can be a little boy or girl or both!
These easy to follow, step by step, instructions with detailed photos take you through the process of making these cute gingerbread people & their clothes, hand stitched or by machine.
So, whether you are an experienced toy maker or just getting started, these instructions and the pattern will help you on your creative journey.
Prints on standard A4 paper
To make a Gingerbread Person you will need:
- 22cm x 90cm felt
- 2 x 15mm and 2 x 20mm buttons for jointing, with extra strong thread
- A pair of 10mm glass eyes, safety eyes or buttons
- Small piece white felt for under the eye
- 15mm felt ball for the nose or you can make a tiny pom pom
- 2m Ric Rac
- Toy filling
To Make the Dress:
- 1/2m Fabric
- 2 Press studs or snap fasteners
- Ric Rac (left over from Ginny)
To make the Waistcost:
- Fabric in main & lining
You will also need a basic sewing kit, pen, pencil, paper & sewing scissors.
