These easy to follow, step by step, comprehensive instructions with detailed pattern take you through the process of making a pin cushion (or leave the filling out, add a little ribbon loop at the top and hang him from your tree!)

Prints on standard A4 size paper 

To make this pin cushion you will need:-

.    fabric for the gingerbread man body (we used ginger felt)

.    white ric rac for the icing cuffs

.    3 x red buttons

.    black embroidery thread or cotton perle for the eyes

.    red embroidery thread or cotton perle for the mouth.  

.    embroidery thread or cotton perle for the outline blanket stitch (we used   

     ginger to match but white looks good too)

 .   matching thread, general purpose sewing needle and pins 

.    a small amount of polyfibre filling

.    1 x pair each fabric and paper scissors

.    Tailor’s chalk or a pencil

A small bag of sand placed inside your pin cushion will help keep your pins sharp.
