.    fabric for stocking and lining (we used red heart print and white cotton)

.    fabric for trim and heart (we used white felt) 

.    cotton perle or embroidery thread for outline blanket stitch

.    wadding

.    matching thread, general purpose sewing needle and pins

.    1 x pair each fabric and paper scissors

.    Tailor’s chalk or a pencil
