Rag Doll Father Christmas Outfit 

Wouldn't it be great to be able to dress your doll as a Christmas character! And what better character than the classic Father Christmas!

Putting us in mind of the Victorian style Christmas outfit with it's timeless shape and shoulder cape, we have taken all the stress out and collated all the fabrics and trims for you to make your own outfit comprising Santa's jacket, trousers, hat, boots, belt, present sack and even a false beard! 

With easy to follow, step by step, comprehensive instructions, detailed pattern and all of the fabrics and components you will need, this kit will take you through the process of making a beautiful outfit. 

So, whether you are an experienced sewer or this is your first Rag Doll project, these instructions and pattern are just what you need.

This kit includes:-

. Full pattern & Instructions - depending on the option you choose. 

. 110cm/43" wide x 68cm/27" deep red cotton velvet for main clothes

. 54cm/21" wide x 43cm/187 deep faux fur fabric for the trimmings

. 54cm/21" wide x 47cm/19" deep red cotton poplin fabric for the clothes lining

. 37cm/15" long  x 7mm/1/4" white elastic for beard and waistband

. 4 x poppers

. 45cm/18" wide x 25cm /10" deep black leatherette for Boots and belt strap

. 12cm/5" wide x 6cm/2.5" Silver leatherette for belt buckle

. 13g white super chunky yarn and 12cm/5" x 4cm/2" white felt for beard

. 100cm/39" x 7mm cord for sack drawstring

You will also need:-

. Matching thread, general purpose sewing needle and pins

. 1 x pair each fabric and paper scissors.

. Tailor’s chalk or a pencil

Size : to fit a 54cm Rag Doll

Suitable for : This is a collectable heirloom pattern but with very little adjustment it can be made suitable for children. Replace small parts such as buttons until the child is a little older. Ready for a lifetime of play.
