1950's Pedigree Hard plastic 16" Walker Doll with Original Outfit
Pedigree Dolls & Toys, also known as Pedigree Toys, is a toy company located in Exeter, England. Best known for launching the Sindy doll in 1963, Pedigree also produced the Tommy Gunn action figure from 1966 to 1968. The Sindy doll was very popular from the 1960s to 1980s, and accounted for 80% of Pedigree's sales.
This pedigree 16 inch early Walker doll is in good condition for her age.
A walking mechanism that works with her head turning from side to side. Her lovely blue eyes move to, when walking.
When she is laying down her big blue eyes close as if she were asleep.
She has all of her original lashes and hair, and a hand painted red lips.
Tummy voice box does work, but this is very temperamental.
She is wearing a white cotton dress is , with blue suns, green flowers and red watering cans on the fabric. She has her original white plastic shoes ,socks and panties.
Her plastic legs and arms have scratches on them are are marked.
She is well strung and is generally in good condition, but does not like sitting.
This doll stands approx 16" tall and is a manual walker.
This is a collectors item, and not suitable for children.
