Vintage 1960s Hanna-Barbera Yogi bear Toy, made in England by Semco Ltd .
Yogi has a soft body with a hard plastic head.
Play worn, with discolouration and plush is worn.
He has blue plush trousers- slight discolouration and threadbare.
His white top is very discoloured and threadbare.
His red arms and back have slight discolouration and the plush is threadbare.
His feet are of yellow plush slight discolouration and threadbare.
He has a blue and white discoloured tie.
His hard plastic head and hands are discoloured but with no major damage.
Seam on the back has been re stitched at some point.
Approx 50cm tall and is unjointed.
He has a tag on his leg which says Yogi Bear Semco Ltd, made in England.
This is a collectors toy and not suitable for children.
Yogi Bear has appeared in numerous comic books, animated TV shows and films .
He made his debut in 1958 as a supporting character in The Huckleberry Hound Show.
He was created by Hanna-Barbera and in 1961 he was given his own show.
Yogi Bear was one of several Hanna-Barbera characters to have a collar. This allowed animators to keep his body static, redrawing only his head each frame when he spoke .This was one of the ways it allowed them to cut costs, reducing the number of drawings needed for a seven minute cartoon .
